Powerful college search features are a critical component of the dialogue that takes place between counselors and students and have long been an important part of Counselor's Office, part of WorkspaceK12. Through an agreement with Hobsons, the worldwide community of counselors, students, and parents who rely on Naviance every day will have access to search features from Hobsons' CollegeView.com as well as a multimedia library of photos, videos, and interactive tours for selected institutions — all without leaving WorkspaceK12. In addition to finding the statistical data so important to researching colleges, counselors and families will be able to get a real sense of a college campus. The new college search and information features will be part of the next major release of WorkspaceK12. Further, recognizing the leadership position Naviance maintains in the field, Hobsons has named Naviance its "Hobsons Choice" for planning and advising systems for high school counselors.
