Chicago is the home of the first Naviance Network user group and the site of our newest office. Led by Peggy FitzGibbon -- who joins Naviance from Kirkwood High School in Missouri and who has extensive experience as both a counselor and a businessperson -- our new office in Chicago expands our ability to serve schools throughout Illinois and across the Midwest.

Naviance is pleased to welcome Joseph Berry, M.Ed., who has been named Director of Community & Professional Development. Prior to joining Naviance, Mr. Berry worked as both a middle and high school counselor, most recently as director of guidance at Mt. Hebron High School in Howard County, Maryland. Mr. Berry will lead our efforts to maintain the Naviance Network as the preeminent on-line community of practice for counseling professionals.

Naviance is pleased to welcome Faith Connolly, Ph.D., who has been named Vice President of Research & Development. Before joining Naviance Dr. Connolly served most recently as Director of the Department of Shared Accountability for the Montgomery County (MD) Public Schools. In that role Dr. Connolly oversaw applied research, program evaluation, and training activities for one of the nation's largest school systems. Dr. Connolly will work to extend our leadership in providing innovative solutions that help K-12 schools ensure students are prepared for college and the twenty-first century workplace.
