In Southeastern Virginia, Norfolk Public Schools set out on "a journey to be a 'world-class' school district" and adopted WorkspaceK12 to help bring this vision to reality. As Joyce Beamon, Senior Coordinator for NPS writes, "counseling tools and methods of the past are not adequate for student needs of the future," but with WorkspaceK12, "Norfolk Public Schools' counselors will be an integral part" of the district's college- and workplace-readiness efforts.
