Helping students prepare for college and the twenty-first century workplace is a key goal for school districts across the U.S., and Naviance is an important part of that strategy in thousands of schools nationwide and in 60 other countries. New Jersey's Matawan Regional High School joined the Naviance Network this year, and students and parents are already benefiting from new, integrated counseling resources. According to The Independent, the district "held a two-day summer workshop to help high school seniors hone their application skills," and WorkspaceK12 played an important role. For example, Barbi Siegel the district's director of student personnel services explains, "I had an English teacher present to help them with college essays, and we had some prep work for them for the SATs and ACT tests."
