Naviance has led the way in delivering electronic forms and transcripts since 2005. While we delivered nearly half a million forms last year alone -- an increase of nearly 3,800% since the 2005-2006 admissions cycle -- we recognized that many high schools and colleges remained on the sidelines. High schools waited for more colleges to accept forms electronically, while colleges waited for high schools to be ready to send a larger percentage of forms on-line. As the market leader, we recognized that we had a unique role to play in addressing this classic "chicken and egg" problem by bringing together a critical mass of institutions.

Building on our unmatched experience, Naviance worked closely with The Common Application and Docufide to develop Naviance eDocs and to build a network of more than 1,000 participating colleges. Then, we made Naviance eDocs available with College Planner, part of Naviance Succeed, at no charge to every high school in the Naviance Network -- a group of more than 3,500 schools in every corner of the globe. Those schools can now deliver all electronic school forms, transcripts, recommendation letters, and school profiles to more than 1,000 colleges. In many cases, every college a school works with is part of the Naviance eDocs community, allowing those schools to eliminate paper completely.

More than twice as many Naviance Network member schools are already using Naviance eDocs versus our previous electronic delivery options -- and it's only September! And, hundreds more Naviance Network members attended workshops and visited our booth at the National Association for College Admission Counseling conference in Baltimore this week to learn more about how to participate this year.
