Modesto City Schools, Modesto, CA

Located 100 miles east of San Francisco in the Central Valley of California. The Modesto City Schools serve a large and diverse population of nearly 15,000 students in grades 9-12. Approximately 85% of Modesto City Schools graduates go to college annually.

In the past few years Modesto City High Schools have increased their scholarship dollars awarded from $500,000 in 2002 to $26 Million in 2008.

Mountain Vista High School, Highlands Ranch, CO

Mountain Vista High School belongs to one of the fastest growing school districts in Colorado. Mountain Vista serves 1,975 students, with a team of six counselors.

In 2005, Terry Gerba introduced Naviance to his school and his principal, Steve Johnson. Since then Steve has really supported the program and to Terry’s credit the entire administration is aware of the capabilities. “Terry wanted to present Naviance to my administrative team during a meeting. We gave him twenty minutes and ultimately he presented to us for over an hour. My administrative team peppered him with questions, as each attendee envisioned additional ways to use the tools.” Since then, Steve has realized the potential of Naviance products and encourages students and parents to use the resources available to them.
