He has been a member of Penn's admissions staff since fall 2003, serving previously as a Regional Director. He recruits students from Maryland, Washington DC, Arizona, and New Mexico, personally representing about 1200 applicants a year, and is a member of both the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling. Prior to working at Penn, Jonathan worked as an editor at Houghton Mifflin in Boston and as a high school English teacher.
