Hobsons Announces New SVP of Marketing

Matt Chan joins the Hobsons Leadership Team

Arlington, VA – June 25, 2019 – Hobsons, the leader in education technology, announced today the addition of Matt Chan to the senior leadership team as SVP of Marketing.

In his role at Hobsons, Mr. Chan will lead the company’s marketing strategy and be responsible for elevating the presence and brand of Hobsons and the company’s product lines. He will oversee all of Hobsons’ marketing functions and report directly to Kate Cassino, Chief Executive Officer of Hobsons.

“We are thrilled to have Matt join our leadership team,” said Ms. Cassino. “Matt has a proven track record of success in B2B marketing leadership roles, and we are confident he will help us broaden the reach and visibility of Hobsons in the marketplace.”

Mr. Chan brings over 20 years of experience in the education technology and SaaS B2B space to Hobsons and joins the company from Knowledge to Practice, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that, he served in various marketing leadership roles at Rosetta Stone, Carfax, and CEB.

Mr. Chan received his BS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, his MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
